Exercise: 1 hr cardio and abs
Food: Breakfast - bfast shake
Lunch - Cheese and Apple Quesadilla
Snack - at work/school - fruit and nut trailmix, wheat thins
Dinner - 1 serving (1/2 c. approx) Hamburger Helper
2 pieces of bread
Friday:
Exercise: 45 Min of hard core cardio
Food: Breakfast - Shake (I can't help it, I'm not hungry much in the AM and I love my bfast shakes)
Snack - at work/school - pita chips, fruit and nut trailmix
Lunch - PB&J sandwhich on Oat bread, 1 orange, 1/2 c. mac salad
Snack - at work/school - cheese, apples and PB
dinner - 1/2 c. mac n cheese.
Water Intake - another hot day, I tried to drink all I could while at school
3 bottles water, un flavored, 3 bottles flavored (by 5 pm) and drinking one now.
Something I learned for today. First of all, I need to write down what I eat at the end of the day, or else i forget... I could have eaten more yesterday, but I really don't remember. Writing down what I eat helps me to realize what I'm eating, and that's good, it also makes me think about what i'm going to eat because i'm accountable for it more, or at least i feel more accountable for it to myself! i also learned that working out in the evening, before dinner, is good for me. The hard part, i'm often so run down that I don't feel like I have the energy or time to do it... BUT, if I do it... I'm not AS hungry for dinner, which is good, I don't over eat. I also find that if i make myself do it, I end up having energy after. I feel good about what i've done. Today I did real strenuous cardio... Not running, it hurts my knees, but on the treadmill i walked at a faster pace (4.3 mph... usually i'm between 3.5 and 4 mph) and today I increased my grade (ok, i normally walk flat... no grade, today I did a 6% grade!) I put my time at 45 min... but... i wanted so badly to stop after 20 min!! But, I made myself keep going, and I'm so glad that I did!! I felt good when I finally accomplished that 45 min!!
Tomorrow's goal: Do the same 45 min hard core cardio workout that I did today... I like to change it up, but I think tomorrow, I need it!! :)Also would like to increase my abs tomorrow to 10 min of Abs (usually 5 does me in... because it's 5 min of solid abs, not breaking it up... but I think my body is getting used to it by now... so i need to up it! :)
